HENDERSON HARBOR, N. Y., Mar. 3 (AP)—Residents of this section of the state are perplexed by a mystery airplane which appears out of the southern sky almost every day, flies over Horseshoe Island in the direction of the main duck group of islands in Lake Ontario, reappears in about 45 minutes and disappears toward the south.
Ownership, starting point and destination of the plane are not known here, but the general belief is that the craft comes from the vicinity of Syracuse, lands across the Canadian border, and returns to Syracuse or some nearby airport. The plane has been sighted at practically the same time on each trip.
